Hillview for the Saturday open split across the back 2 canals. Drew 90 on canal 4 right in the middle, so tough against the 2 end pegs, managed 62lb 3oz on soft 4mm pellets off a top kit and 1. Ended up 4 overall Hillview for the sunday open, good turnout with 23 fishing so both pools and the first canal in, drew 33 on Heron, weighed in 58lb 6oz which was 2nd in my section and 3rd on Heron so not to bad. Nice to fish with no rain at last Out with Exel AC on Wyatt’s at Cob house today. winter fishing at its worst, heavy rain all day. 4 hours in and blanking. 3 carp on the Bomb and corn last hour and enough to get a section win with 18lb 3oz, drenched today, kit drying off in the garage Hillview for the Sunday open. Split over Moorhen and Heron, drew peg 2 on Moorhen, slow start but then a late run in the left margin got me the lake and section win with 59lb 4oz Manor Farm Leisure for the affordable today on boundary, rock hard 4 small F1’s and 2 Skimmers for 15lb 8oz which as I was the only one to weigh in my section I picked up the section evenlope, forget to take a pic of my peg so a nice pic of my evenlope Hillview for the open on canals 3 & 4, wanted 3 but drew 84 on the 4th canal, nice day dobbing bread over to the far bank for the 1st hour while priming my maggot lines which came good but had to keep moving around the peg all day. Weighed in 98lb 8oz to take the section win First time visit to Alveschurch Fisheries with the Evel AC lads on Canal pool, drew peg 3 and rock hard after all the rain. Managed to catch 26lb 2oz on maggots which surprisly was enough for 2nd overall Hillview for the open today across 3 canals, drew 71 on 3rd canal, nice day just fishing maggots to the aerator, weighed on 69lb 3oz to take the section and 2nd overall Hillview for the Sunday open split over all 4 canals as a great turnout with 28 fishing. Draw 84 on the back canal, weighed in 58lb 14oz for a nice days fishing. Bites all day but the other end fished better
