The Nomads finished off the year fishing Woodland View’s Sunday Open on the 30th December held on Front and Deans.

Doug Smith was the top Nomad on the day taking all the Nomads pound coins this week but also main framed in the match finishing 2nd overall weighing in 48lb from Back Deans 47.Phil Seedhouse benefited from Doug’s 2nd place by claiming a section win off Back Deans 44 weighing in 32lb  and Stu Thomson also fished a good match winning the section on Front Deans with 30lb So a good days fishing for the Nomads taking 3 out of the 5 Brown envelopes on offer. This match rounded off the Nomads first year fishing with the big boys at several Commercials in the Worcestershire area. We’ve done well with at least one Nomad main framing at most open matches we’ve fished this year. Well done boys and we’ll see what 2019 brings us.
