The Jubilee Nomads claimed the top 3 places at Woodland View’s Christmas Fur and Feather match on Sunday 23rd December, 35 anglers booked in and were spread over Front and Back Deans, Ghost and High pools.
All anglers were well looked after for this Christmas match with the venue laying on seasonal goodies for every angler fishing the match. A Christmas free festive drink was delivered to all anglers on their pegs during the match and a free beefburger or hot dogs after the match, before presentation of the prizes. 6 Jubilee Nomads fished the match with 3 Nomads taking the top 3 places. Robin Ballard drew on Ghost 2 and went on to win the match and the Nomad pound coins with 78lb while Doug Smith on Ghost 21 claims 2nd spot with another 70lb+ weight. Phil Seedhouse drawn on Front Deans 27 weighed in 55lb to win his pool/section and 3rd place overall. So a great day for the Nomads.
