Two Jubilee Nomads visited Hillview’s Saturday open this week spread over Moorhen and two of the canals.

Phil Seedhouse drew on Moorhen and took full advantage of a throw to the island off peg 14 on Moorhen, fishing a maggot feeder to the left of the island catching approximately 50lb in the first 3 hours and then 30lb on the pole at 13 metres to win the match with 81lb  Andy Mitchell also drew on Moorhen but it was Phil’s day on a difficult day where most anglers struggled to catch fish and Phil took home Andy’s pound coin
