This week the Jubilee Nomads visited Hillview for their Sunday open. This week held on all four of the canals with 24 anglers booked in, so tightly pegged.

Stu Thomson was top Nomad on the day, taking all the Nomads pound coins and also main framing, winning his section with 81lb from peg 86 on canal 4. The Nomads all caught fish with Rob Butcher weighing in 68lb 0oz, Robin Ballard had 61lb 0oz while Andy Mitchell had  56lb 8oz and Phil Seedhouse had 38lb 0oz.  Hillview always produces a fair match where you can win from any peg. It particularly fishes well in the winter and as you can see from the weigh-in sheet all 24 anglers caught fish and this is why we go there. Stu in fact wasn’t to far off the place against the venue experts with 96lb winning the match.Next Sunday the Nomads return to Woodland View for the 2nd round of the Winter Pairs League.
