Jubilee Nomads February round up


February saw some cold, wet and windy conditions throughout the month where not all of us Jubilee Nomads got on the bank but we still had a little success at Woodland View, Cob House and Hillview.

5th February

Match winner

Robin and Andy booked into Cob House’s Saturday open on the Chestnut pool, Robin won the match on the maggot feeder from peg 27, placing 88lb 10oz on the scales for the win.

6th February

2nd overall
Section winner

Phil and Rob repeated their previous weeks result at Hillviews Sunday open, this time on the 3 & 4th canals. Phil was 2nd overall, picking up the section off canal 3 with 57lb while Rob was the top weight off canal 4 with 47lb for the section win.

20th February

4th overall Winter Pairs League
Match winner

The weather has not been kind with all the storms lately but Andy did fish the last round of the Woodland View Winter Pair league, finishing 2nd on his pool with 48lb. This gave a final overall finish in the top 3 pairs, only to be knock back to 4th overall once sections wins were taken into account. Well done Andy on fishing a good league this winter. Rob travelled to Cob House where he was the top weight of the day winning with 120lb off the Oak pool.

27th February

The month finished off well with 3 more Nomad pick ups. Andy continued his good form at Woodland View Teams of 4 Spring League. Drawing on Front Dean for the first round. Andy caught 56lb 8oz to win his pool which was also 3rd overall on the day. The rest of Andy’s team did well ending up 1st on the day.

Stu and Robin were the other Nomad pick ups. Stu on canal 2 came 2nd overall winning his section with 56lb and Robin over on canal 3 won his section with 39lb.
