The Nomads fished both Hillview opens this weekend,  with 5 Nomads fishing on the Saturday open and all 7 on the Sunday. 

Saturday’s match saw Phil Seedhouse, Rob Butcher and Mark Birbeck draw on the Heron pool, while Andy Mitchell and Robin Ballard drew on the Moorhen pool. Phil Seedhouse won Heron pool and the Nomad pound coins with 35lb from peg 28, on a day where the fishing was difficult for all.Sunday’s match saw a full house of Nomads in attendance for the open which again saw fishing difficult with Phil Seedhouse and Andy Mitchell on Heron.  Robin Ballard, Mark Birbeck and Doug Smith on Moorhen and Rob Butcher and Stu Thomson on the 4th canal. Rob Butcher won his section on the 4th canal with 42lb taking the Nomads pound coins and maintaining the Nomads recent framing run.
