Rob Butcher wins a 110 pegger at Woodland View

This match attracted 110 anglers for a clubman match at Woodland View. Tackle giant Preston Innovations sponsored the day and donated tackle prizes plus a goodie bag for every angler fishing the match.

This was the venue’s thank you to all anglers who had fished club matches at the venue during 2018. One of our club’s Brookfields AC had fished several matches at Woodlands this year so we were able to fish the match. The match was on Front and Back Deans, Hay and Barley, Arles and Ghost pools. Rob drew well and ended up fishing an end peg on Back Deans, 48 to win the match with an excellent 81lb 12oz. Winning the Clubman Trophy to keep for a year and also a nice new rod from Preston Innovations. Other Jubilee Nomad’s Phil Seedhouse, Andy Mitchell and Doug Smith drew together in a section on Arles pool. with Phil Seedhouse picking up the section win with 29lb 6oz, while another Jubilee Nomads Robin Ballard, Stu Thomson and Steve Dobbs struggled in their sections.  Well done Rob for also winning all our Pound coins!
